3D models & low poly game objects
The list below shows the current custom mapobjects and models available
from KatsBits. There are a number of Quake 3 specific MD3 models
as well as a number of ASE format models; these can be used in any
game or product that supports the format, including Doom 3 powered
games. Don't forget, additional models
and media can be found in various custom levels and maps in the Maps & Levels section of the site.
Model List
Blender 3D *.blend source files ^
The Blender files used to construct this Quake 3 'terrain' mzap
were split into sections to assist with Q3Map2 enable texture
blending suing 'alphamod' shaders and control brushes.

As above, the absense of 'smooth' groups on brush work means having to use ASE
models to 'map' natural enviroments. *.blend source file inc. checker image.

A quake 4 multi player map entirely modelled in Blender. The Doom
3 engine isn't tollerant of none-axial brushwork, nor is there
any 'phong' or 'smoothing' as there is with Quake 3 phong shading.

Animated MD5 models list ^
A demo to illustrate a 'dynamic' cube map that blurs a feature light based on distance from objects. File includes self-executing renderer plus 'Bob' character model assets.

Low poly ASE models list ^
A set of models based on the famous Easter Island granite 'heads'.
There are two standing versions; one with and one without a neck
and three types of 'hat'. Also included is a 'broken' set comprised
of several sections.

A set of barge cargo (narrow) boats in various colours and markings, including European Front, German Grey, Field Green, White stripe.

An ASE model of a 'tall' double headed (two flame heads) Gothic iron torch in an 'olde
worlde' style. Note: model pulls flame textures from RtCW assets.

Two rock models that can be resized and rotated to any size /
angle. Although built for RtCW they can be used in any Q3 based game. AI spawn point (orange block) shown below for scale
comparisons.

Low poly MD3 format models ^
MD3 version of the standard RtCW ladder. The model allows you
to rotate the ladder to any angle.

Probably a 25lt capacity can (2 hands to carry when full) Although
this is a 'British' watercan there are no obvious decals so it
can be used as you like it..!

An MD3 midpoly static 'centerpiece' vehicle model. No animations and wheels are currently fixed.

One large and one slightly smaller mushroom models. They are separate
models and can be used on thier own or grouped together in however
many numbers you fancy. Tris count is low so you should be able
to use quite a few if in a single area without too much of an
FPS hit.
