Using Cinema4D for IMVU
« on: January 04, 2018, 02:00:55 PM »
There aren't any specific files available for Cinema4D users but it is possible to create them by importing the FBX versions of the starter files - in Cinema4D click "File" then "Open", browse to and select an FBX then 'import' using the default settings (in the import/open dialogue that appears). Be mindful of a number of issues that may need to be addressed;

1) the orientation of "Female03MasterRoot" and/or "PelvisNode" - they point 'up'.
2) the presence of the FBX "RootNode" (typically displays as a bone).
3) IMVU content scale is very large, approximately 100x Cinema4D's default.
