Wasn't stuff like this supposed to be a conspiracy theory? That Corporations and Governments work together (often in private and off-record) [sarcasm] for the technological good of the people [/sarcasm] - Apple and Google Execs met in English mansion to secretly discuss government surveillance plans (AndroidAuthority May 2015).
