Enhancing Normal maps generated from Images
Normal maps generated from images or photos tend to be a bit lackluster
due to the way the image conversion process works
, especially for surfaces like rock and other organic forms. This doesn't need to be the case however,
using an image-editor Normal maps can be enhanced through simple layers, blurring and blending
.
