[closed] N-Logic Seeking 3-D Modeler
« on: July 19, 2012, 04:37:49 PM »
[CLOSED/COMPLETED]

Hello potential applicants,
N-Logic is a company made up of people passionate about their work and we are in search of a like minded individual. Specifically we need a modeler who is able to create both environment pieces and characters with animations. We started development in February 2012 and our first release is scheduled for late first quarter of 2013. Our website outlines our current work, meeting recordings, and character bios to help explain who we are and what we are trying to do.

The way we decided to approach development is somewhat unique. As a minimum we ask that you are able to work 10 hours a week and are able to interact well with the other members. We prefer structuring profit sharing and equity with members but if you prefer a pay-per-model contract we can discuss that option. Either way, please check us out and we hope you find the job as entertaining as the rest of the team.

For a more traditional outline of what we are looking for here the formal outline:
Game developer N Logic Studios, L.L.C. is looking for a part time to full time 3D Modeler and texture Artist.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Creating dynamic, visually pleasing low and high poly models
Texturing real-time environments and objects in line with established art styles
Working closely with the team to create a style and consistency in the project

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Ability to create visually stunning models using 3D Studio Max with ZBrush or Mudbox
Ability to adapt to various art styles as needed
1-3 years practical art/design experience working in interactive media and/or games
Strong passion for gaming (experience with PC Games a plus)
Strong communication skills: verbal, written and visual
Ability to produce high quality work quickly
Experience in UDK a plus

Why work for us?
- A small close team that is dedicated to their work
- We are Online based so you are free to work where you want and create your own hours
- Small company devoted to our employees and to the industry

About Us:
N-Logic is a new company that is getting our feet into the door. We have a strong team that is working together to create exciting and entertaining games. Join now to become an integral part of this team and grow together. www.nlogicstudios.com

Please email any resumes to ianlabrie@nlogicstudios.com

If you would prefer a pay-per-model please provide a quote for the two models that we have concept models for: http://www.nlogicstudios.com/calendar/art. For this model we would need a High/ Low mesh with animations.

Please do not post CV/portfolio spam. If you cannot follow the very clear and basic instructions stated by the OP to send your information to them directly then it's highly unlikely you'll be considered for the work involved.
