Topic: CryEngine soon to be free-to-use

Seems like a good time to be an independent creator/developer what with Unity, Unreal, 3DVia and now Crytek, who look to be releasing a similar 'free-to-use' (but tied to tiered licensing?) version of their cutting edge technology. There aren't any details on Cryteks site yet, but an article in Develop states the 'freemium' version of CE will be on a par with CE3 - so it's likely CE2 with a few additional bells and whistles.
