Body: Hi!

This is your last chance to prevent unpleasant consequences and preserve your reputation.

Your operating system has been hacked.

All your personal data has been copied to my servers.

I have installed a Trojan virus in the operating systems of all the devices you use to access the Internet.

This software gives me access to all the controllers on your devices.

Thanks to encryption, no system will detect this virus. Every day its signatures are cleared.

I have already copied all your personal data to my own servers.

I have access to your emails, messengers, social networks, contact list.

When I was collecting data from your device, I found a lot of interesting information about you.

You really like to watch adult videos and have **** while watching them.

I have some videos that were recorded from your screen.

I have edited a video that clearly shows your face and the way you watch **** and ****.

Your family and friends will have no problem recognizing you in this video. This video will be able to completely destroy your reputation.

I can send out proof of your illegal activities to all your contacts, make it public to everyone on the internet.

I have a lot of your personal information. It's your browsing history, your messenger and social media correspondence, your phone calls, your personal photos and videos.

I can put all of your data in the public domain.

I'm sure that after that the police might be interested in you. And other security agencies in your country.

All it takes is one click of my mouse to make all the information you have on your device available to the public.

You understand the consequences.

It will be a real disaster.

Your life would be ruined.

I bet you want to prevent that, don't you?

It's very easy to do.

You need to transfer me 1300 USD (in bitcoin equivalent at the exchange rate at the time of transfer). After that, I will delete all information about you from my servers.

I will not bother you anymore.

My bitcoin wallet for payment: [bitcoin address]

Don't know what Bitcoin is and how to use it? Use Google.

You have 2 days to pay.

After reading this email, the timer starts automatically.

I've already received notification that you opened this email.

No need to respond to me on this message, this email was created automatically and is untraceable.

There is no need to try to contact anyone for help. Bitcoin wallet is untraceable, so you will just waste your time.

The police and other security services won't help you either.

In each of these cases, I will post the entire video without delay.

All of your data is already copied to a cluster of my servers, so changing your passwords on email or social media won't help.

I hope you choose the right solution.

Subject: Waiting for a payment.

Body: Hello!
Have you recently noticed that I have e-mailed you from your account?
Yes, this simply means that I have total access to your device.

For the last couple of months, I have been watching you.
Still wondering how is that possible? Well, you have been infected with malware originating from an **** that you visited. You may not be familiar with this, but I will try explaining it to you.

With help of the Trojan Virus, I have complete access to a PC or any other device.
This simply means I can see you at any time I wish to on your screen by simply turning on your camera and microphone, without you even noticing it. In addition, I have also got access to your contacts list and all your correspondence.

You may be asking yourself, "But my PC has an active antivirus, how is this even possible? Why didn't I receive any notification?" Well, the answer is simple: my malware uses drivers, where I update the signatures every four hours, making it undetectable, and hence keeping your antivirus silent.

I have a video of you **** on the left screen, and on the right screen - the video you were watching while ****.
Wondering how bad could this get? With just a single click of my mouse, this video can be sent to all your social networks, and e-mail contacts.
I can also share access to all your e-mail correspondence and messengers that you use.

All you have to do to prevent this from happening is - transfer bitcoins worth $1370 (USD) to my Bitcoin address (if you have no idea how to do this, you can open your browser and simply search: "Buy Bitcoin").

My bitcoin address (BTC Wallet) is: [bitcoin address]

After receiving a confirmation of your payment, I will delete the video right away, and that's it, you will never hear from me again.
You have 2 days (48 hours) to complete this transaction.
Once you open this e-mail, I will receive a notification, and my timer will start ticking.

Any attempt to file a complaint will not result in anything, since this e-mail cannot be traced back, same as my bitcoin id.
I have been working on this for a very long time by now; I do not give any chance for a mistake.

If, by any chance I find out that you have shared this message with anybody else, I will broadcast your video as mentioned above.

Blog / Why do cybercrimes/online scams persist?
« Last post by kat on June 25, 2025, 03:37:03 PM »
In the "SCAM WARNING - Bitcoin Sextortion & Blackmail Scams" topic, why these scams persist was touched upon but not really fleshed out. There, a number of resources were mentioned as possible channels to officially pursue action, or at least lodge a complaint and get it on record.

Unfortunately for anyone falling victim to online or email scams, the referenced entities and authoritative channels are of little use unless a 'crime' can be demonstrated. So, absent money actually changing hands, the fact that exploitation emails are strictly criminal under various Computer Misuse acts that would have others prosecuted for errant social media posts, the authorities won't record the crime let alone refer to such sexploitation or blackmail emails as being that, a crime.

In the UK for example, in submitting a report about a sexploitation or blackmail email, Action Fraud, one of the resources referred to in the above link, will pretty much say there's nothing they can do about it.

They will however, capture the report as a data point.

In the absence of meaningful consequences to the owners of sexploitation and blackmail scams then, they'll persist, and we'll just have to deal with it/them ourselves.

A weird flex...

Subject: Cooperation Offer.

Body: Hello!
As you can see, this is not a formal email, and unfortunately, it does not mean anything good for you.
BUT do not despair, it is not critical. I am going to explain to you everything right now.

I have access to your electronic devices, which are the part of the local network you regularly use.
I have been tracking your activity for the last few months.

How did that happen?
You visited some hacked websites with Exploit, and your device was exposed to my malicious software (I bought it in Darknet from specialists in this field).
This is a very complex software, operating as Trojan Horse. It updates regularly, and your antivirus can not detect it.
The program has a keylogger; it can turn your camera and microphone on and off, send files and provide access to your local network.

It took me some time to get access to the information from other devices, and as of now, I have all your contacts with conversations, info about your locations, what you like, your favourite websites, etc.
Honestly, I meant nothing bad at first and did that just for fun. This is my hobby.

But I got HIV and unfortunately lost my job.
And I figured out how to use "my hobby" to get money from you!
I recorded a video of you ****. This video has a separated screen, where you can be easily recognised; also, it can be clearly seen what sort of video you prefer.
Well, I am not proud of this, but I need money to survive.

Let's make a deal. You pay me as much as I ask you to, and I won't send this video to your friends, family, and other acquaintances.
You should understand, this is not a joke. I can send it by email, through SMS-link, social media, even post it in mass media (I have got some hacked accounts of their admins).
So you can become Twitter or Instagram "Star"!

To avoid this, you should send me 1,290 USD in Bitcoins on my BTC wallet:[bitcoin address]

If you don't know how to use Bitcoins, search it in Bing or Google <<how can I purchase Bitcoins>> or other stuff like that.
I will delete the video as soon as I receive the money. I will also delete the malicious software from your device, and you will never hear from me again.
I'll give you 2 days, that's more than enough, I think. Time tracking will start as soon as you open this email, I am monitoring this!

And one last thing:
It makes no sense to report about this to the police since I am using TOR, so there is no way to track Bitcoin transactions.
Don't respond to me (I generated this letter in your account and put the real address of the man who has no idea about this). In such a way, I make it impossible to track me.

If you ever do something stupid or against my expectations, I will immediately share this video.
Good luck!
