[blender 2.71] 3d view vertex weight and crease info?

kat, i vaguely remember us talking about the properties panel in previous versions of blender showing info on selected verts, like the weights, crease amounts. i currently don't have any pre 2.7x versions installed and i can't find where that info is now. is it still in what ever version you have?

Assuming a selection has been weighted its properties should appear in the "
Transform/View
" panel overlay ("N") in the 3D View.

Once an edge has been marked in Edit mode ("
Ctrl+E
" to bring up the 'Edges' menu) the Crease value can be changed from "
Transform
" properties ("N"). Crease marking can also be ignored once marked. In Object mode deselecting "
Store Edge Crease
" in "
Object Data
" properties (under the "
Geometry Data
" sub-section)
