Title: Make a Girder (truss support) normal map from an Image
Post by: kat on May 09, 2015, 10:16:57 PM

Video to accompany "Make a Girder Normal map from an image (https://www.katsbits.com/tutorials/textures/making-normal-maps-from-images.php)" tutorial (actually a truss support rather than girder. Ed.) showing the process (no audio (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0pt-mSckCo)) from start in Corel PhotoPaint (any photo-editor will work) to finish (test displayed in Blender - also shows alpha assigned). i.e. creating an image containing greyscale shapes and forms that's flattened and then filtered through a normal map converter, in this instance Njob (http://charles.hollemeersch.net/njob).
