thanks kat and same here with the gfx card/chip in this laptop, otherwise the min spec looks ok. do you think any of todays laptops could run rage smoothly?

So long as you're within spec they should (overstating the obvious ). GFX and memory will be the kickers on this one because of megatexture, the more memory you have the better it'll be at streaming the MT in and out.
