Title: IMVU Lay Pose
Post by: Guyon on March 22, 2020, 06:16:47 PM
I want to add a laydown pose to furniture item  that I am creating.  But when I load the furniture (nodes).blend file all I see are sitting and standing poses and nodes.
So how do I get a laydown pose?
Also is it possible to give the avi a specific lay down pose? Like position arms and legs in the reclining posision?

Thanks!

Furniture and rooms that include custom avatar poses need those added as a separate element. In this instance the seat node sets acts as positional markers to which the custom pose is linked. To understand how to set up the furniture see "Custom (node) furniture seats (FBX) (https://www.katsbits.com/tutorials/imvu/furniture-poses.php)" here , to see how to then make a custom pose see "How to make custom avatar poses (https://www.katsbits.com/tutorials/imvu/make-poses.php)" here. Watch the first half of this as well as it goes through the process of making a similar pose https://www.katsbits.com/smforum/index.php?topic=1066.0

If you're using Blender 2.8+ the principles explained still apply.

Reading your tutorials.
This looks like a good start to begin.  Thanks.
