Title: Already submitted products lost material in Blender.
Post by: JanXuan on December 09, 2019, 09:02:07 PM
I just ran into something weird happening.
I had made a single desk and a double desk which have already been submitted and textured in IMVU, but when I reopen the Blender file, suddenly all parts seem to have no material.
They were textured when I last closed the Blender file.

Any idea what can have caused this?

Could it be because I moved the files to another folder? It seems that Blender can no more locate the textures.

You can remove this post.  Something completely else has happened. Don't ask me how. :D

What was the issue? Normally when something like that happens it'll be a result of Blender not being able to map assigned images because file paths have changed (as you noted above). By way of confirmation objects/meshes appear pink when that happens (white = no image or material assigned).

Moving the files may have been one thing. But somehow the mesh was duplicated. Probably the use of Alt+D had gone wrong.
