An updated MD5 export script for Blender 2.54 is now available from the Tools & Utilities page. Currently exports 'valid' *.md5mesh and *.md5anims only (no *.md5camera files) so idtech modders/devs should note that binary versions of the MD5 format aught be compiled by the editing/engine tools. Read keless's  development topic here. For installation and usage instructions click here. [b]N.B.[/b] script doesn't work in any other version of Blender due to the internal incompatibilities.

Script seems to work in Blender 2.55 without any issues (install to scripts/io).
