Title: [Radiant] shaping floors using tri-souping
Post by: kat on December 14, 2015, 12:50:35 AM

Using tri-soup to shape floors (https://www.katsbits.com/tutorials/idtech/trisouping-bsp-brush-based.php)

Tri-soup isn't just for terrain, it can be used in a simpler form to shape and modify room flooring to break up what might otherwise be flat monotony. Use the Clipper ("Ctrl+right-click") to split selected volumes into triangles then press "V" to edit vertices (changes the height). Clipper tool can also be activated pressing "X", from "Selection » Clipper » Toggle Clipper", or by clicking the "Clipper" button in Radiants toolbar (displays an icon showing a triangle with three points).
