Title: splitting and combining rbg channels in photoshop?

anyone here know how to do this?

one of the skinners from the gvz forums has ps but was struggling to follow some instructions I was giving him, I'm still using psp8.

@ shaderman, thanks a lot, although that is an old article it seems to contain all the info the gvz guy would need. I'll pass on the link to him :)
