Description: learn some relatively advanced UV editing techniques that aim to get better usage of available texture space while maintaining detail. In this video (Live recorded Twitch stream (http://https:twitch.tv/katsbits), may include off-topic chat) a folded or pleated skirt, made using the Clothing Starter file (https://www.katsbits.com/codex/imvu-starter-files/), has an initial UV map that is shown being further edited so more detail can be had from the same image, all by changing the way UV's are positioned and scaled. Also covered is a simple technique that utilising Vertex Groups as a selection-control tool, being able to selective different areas of the mesh with the click of a button. For newer versions of Blender (2.8 and above).
