Using the <strong>Animation Tool<\/strong>, the avatar rig is dropped into place in a clean project and interaction mode switched to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.katsbits.com\/codex\/tag\/pose-mode\/\">Pose Mode<\/a>. Making sure the Action Editor timeline scrubber is a frame &#8220;1&#8221; the avatar is posed by manipulating the rig. Once a pose is created it is exported to FBX using the Export Tool for assembly in IMVU Studio.<\/p>\n<p><b>Duration<\/b>: total c. 30 mins (00:30:00).<br \/>\n<b>Info<\/b>: 720p (720 x 1280 vertical\/portrait).<br \/>\n<b>Suitability<\/b>: Beginner+.<br \/>\n<b>Source<\/b>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.katsbits.com\/files\/imvu\/katsbits - tiktok white opacity.zip\">KatsBits \u2013 White Opacity<\/a> (c. 900 KB | *.blend, *.fbx).<br \/>\n<b>Product ID<\/b>: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imvu.com\/shop\/product.php?products_id=68094494\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Opacity Punishment<\/a> (68094494).<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Design note<\/strong>: some additional note to keep in mind when making poses that require the avatar to be off set, or or off centre;<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"%e2%80%98bone-selection\"><\/span>&#8216;Bone&#8217; Selection<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>When the avatar needs to be moved off-centre or off-set from its origin, the shape representing <em>Female03MasterRoot<\/em> at the ground plain [1], ensure to select the &#8216;<strong>pelvis<\/strong>&#8216; (<em>CTRL_COG<\/em>), &#8216;<strong>hands<\/strong>&#8216; (<em>CTRL_IK_Hand.R<\/em> and <em>CTRL_IK_Hand.L<\/em>) and &#8216;<strong>feet<\/strong>&#8216; (<em>CTRL_Foot.R<\/em> and <em>CTRL_Foot.L<\/em>) controls [2] as a groups so the rig moves as a unit &#8211; this isn&#8217;t absolutely necessary but avoids having to correct for the avatar twisting out of shape before posing.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.katsbits.com\/images\/tutorials\/imvu\/upside-down-control-selection.jpg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"width: 98.5%; height: auto;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.katsbits.com\/images\/tutorials\/imvu\/upside-down-control-selection.jpg\" alt=\"Upside-down pose\" width=\"900px\" height=\"500px\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<i>The origin [1] shouldn&#8217;t be moved. Instead select the &#8216;pelvis&#8217;, &#8216;hands&#8217; and &#8216;feet&#8217; [2] controls to move the avatar as a unit.<\/i><\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"other-orientations\"><\/span>Other Orientations<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>This principle, of rotating &#8216;pelvis&#8217;, is also used to create custom poses where the avatar lies on its back, front, or sides, pelvis, hands and feet, being selected and rotated to the desired angle or orientation of the avatar.
